I really wanted to grab the game on Switch since it looks so tempting to play this on the go. I was wondering if it will get the other DLCs in the future?

Highly unlikely.
The Switch has just enough RAM to run the base game without crashing. DLC's increase the amount of needed RAM, and will make the game too heavy for the Switch.
This is also why it will probably never get custom content.

That is unfortunate. Sticking with PC version then. I wouldn't really mind the lack of custom content but the lack of expansions especially mass transit would hurt the game for me.

Well so the Switch version sucks like the consoles, so I don't know why my comment keeps receiving disagree opinions even it is 100% true. Go with the Steam/PC version, it is still the best.

This is the perfect demonstration of how when a game is developed for console it gets held back. World design especially in many games takes a huge hit due to console limits.
