Intel video systems are not supported hardware for this game with any OS. Yours is relatively top-end for Intels though, so it will probably actually run if not fast. There are tweaks possible if you have problems.

Thanks for the answer.
I'm not that tech savvy, so you say it will work even though the graphic card is not supported, but it will work slowly?
Would you still recommend to purchase the game?

Yes, and/or you'l need to reduce graphics quality options to get acceptable speed. We'll be able to help you here with that.

Would you still recommend to purchase the game?
I recommend you buy from our store rather than Steam:
paradoxplaza.com/games/

That way we have discretion over refunds, as we're not bound by Steam's refund policy.

Generally speaking, when a developer says "We don't support Intel Integrated Graphics" it means two things :
1)Unlike AMD and nVidia cards, Intel doesn't do much support tweaking their drivers to help the games. This is because the integrated graphics are really meant for office productivity oriented machines. This results in lower performance than might otherwise be possible.

2)They aren't really doing much if any testing to determine how well it works on those machines. Mostly because of the 'focused on office stuff' aspect. This means they can't honestly say more than "probably, but we aren't sure".

99% of the time, if the version of the Intel graphics you have is sufficiently powerful it will work just maybe not as well. The one you have is roughly equivalent to AMD and nVidia cards that exceed the recommended specs so you SHOULD be ok.

Yes, Intel graphics should work fine in most cases, but they are under minimum specs, so it will lag out quickly, plus id will use your system RAM to run the integrated graphics and some added stress to the CPU to man the integrated GPU.

I was able to reach about 125k city population over 4 tiles and maintained decent speeds and adequate fps (under 30 fps and no workshop) before I had to lower the screen resolution from 1080p to 720p and got to 150k.

After that I started a new city as it was too slow and laggy to continue for me. If you're okay with smaller cities for now, with hopes of upgrades in the future, then I'd recommend buying it. Also, I was on a windows rig, so you can count on 20% worse performance, so maybe 100k and 125k max city size before lags sets in horrendously.

There are some mods to mess with the AI to stretch a large city, by breaking some rules. But then it starts looking a little weird and unrealistic.
