Will the AI ever sell me a military unit?

If so, about how much money? I'm Romania and I want to buy a German armor or CAS unit etc. I'm sure it will be expensive so i'm stockpiling $ to pay for it, any idea how much? or if ever? as theirs no production licence this is my only option to not use Romanian WW1 units.

Why do use use spoiler? The picture is loaded before spoiler is applied.
It takes 60 days until you can deploy the unit. In the meantime you can bring it up to strength. Being allied with germany you should have no problem to get blueprints. Building that CAS is cheaper than buying.

It's ready to deploy, it just wont.

Yeah it is cheaper on IC, but you get a far inferior product.

I donnot think so. Romanian AI builds CAS quite fine. If setting the right priorities in research and utiling blueprints you are only inferior by one model and that only by approximatly 2 months in 3 years. Remember that bought units need upgrading, too. Therefore you need to research anyway.

I cannot speak for others, but for me the spoiler is more annoying.

I don't think you would want to buy any CAS from my Germany. For Barbarossa, my alliance partner Romania AI contributed two CAS-2, one TAC-1, one NAV-1 and two INT-2; so they do build air force. By late 1942 they have five CAS-2. Meanwhile my Germany is researching 1940 CAS (CAS-2) currently at 82% - using plan given by Romania! :closedeyes:

I am glad some of my partners think modern CAS are important but I would rather focus on other things like longer range transport planes to make liberating Siberia easier; and found the eight CAS-1 wich I did use for attacking SU excellent for my priorities and plan. CAS-2 would have been better of course, but not if it meant some ARM-2 couldn't upgrade instead. For Romania CAS are perfect (and I use their CAS really well) but my Luftwaffe has quite low regard for them compared to other things. Now if you like to buy some most modern Fw190A we can talk mega dollars. Maybe I might consider selling you some of the worst damaged units!
