I imagine ringworlds will end up being able to construct fallen empire level buildings so that all resources are manufactured through high technology, that or be primarily agricultural based.

Since they didn't show them off last broadcast no clue. Shaking my fist at whoever coded only around black hole.

Uh, they said ringworlds can't be built around blackholes

Yes and someone screwed up the code so it wasn't possible.

No clue as the habitats have unique buildings the ring worlds could use them as well or normal planetary buildings or something else like the fallen empire buildings.

Uh, they said ringworlds can't be built around blackholes
During the broadcast there was a bug in the code that required that ring worlds be built in black hole systems with at least four planets (instead of a non-black hole system with at least four planets). Since you won't find a black hole system with four planets, that meant they couldn't show the ring worlds off.

yes, ringworlgs will have all kind of resources. Woz said so multiple times.

Also, There is at least one Black Hole with multiple planets - it's one of the Artist Enclave systems, but I don't remember how many planets it has.

The ones already ingame actually already have various resource modifiers on them, don't they?

Also, they have to explain the removal of the planets somehow because they couldn't make it work with planets still in the system.

Yep, they will have resources, and the explanation for that is that the habitable portions of the ring are literally just made up of giant chunks of land taken from the worlds that are destroyed to make up the system.

It's... best not to think too hard about the logic of why a civilization would do it that way.

Strictly speaking, Ringworld work perfectly fine with world still in the system, provided said worlds are not within the distance that the Ringworld occupies.

Case in point is Sanctuary, which has a planet in it (at least it had when I found it) - a gas giant at the far end of the system.

Sure, but Ringworlds are always the same distance from the sun, so it shouldn't be a problem to make a script that only removes planets at between X and Y distance from the sun. I guess it's more of a design choice. I just recently found a system with 4 native habitable planets. Make them Gaia, add a Ringworld to that and you'd have a super-system. It's more controllable to make all Ringworlds a 4-planet system.
