Not sure why it was included in the first place in 1936, it was not established until 1939.

Will it be removed in the new expansion? It damages the historical accuracy of the game.

Hmm, Mengkukuo/Mengjiang was established May 2nd, 1936 as the Mongol Military Government in Chahar province, expanded into Suiyan in 1936/37, renamed the Mongol United Autonomous Government in October 1937 and merged with the Han puppets in South Chahar and Northern Shanxi as the Mengjiang United Autonomous Government in 1939. Finally in 1940 it was incorporated as a fully autonomous part of the Reorganized National Government of the Republic of China.

And to answer your question, probably not.

Might have been interesting if Mengkukuo started as part of Japan (colony state) and an event fires that gives them the option to release them as a puppet (or potentially end up with resistance attacks against them or something similar. Probably too late in Waking the Tiger's timeline to incorporate that now, but still.

There's always one every DLC.
Something left alone and considered insignificant.
British Malasia.
Bulgaria.
and now this one.
Granted, for two out of three, they were unlikely to ever get anything, so, good track record so far.

That's a very laissez attitude though, considering 1/3 is still a big number.

I'd like them to be removed simply because they're a crappy minor. I'd rather have all that land and the couple factories myself.

Manchukuo is at least useful to pump manpower out of them, Mengukuo can't even do that.

Given proper cores or coring events, could be useful, but you're right in pointing out that they're one of the least useful countries in game right now.

That's how it was in HoI2. Don't remember how HoI3 handled it but I think it was there from the start.

Mengkukuo looked really odd on the map before Manchukuo was made a proper puppet, especially after Japan takes the rest of China. Now it looks less out of place, but it'd make sense to be annexed into the bigger China puppet.

Ideally Mengkukuo would get a unique focus tree with the aim of portraying Demchugdongrub's original ambitions of establishing a greater Mongolia. Considering how minor it is however, something such as this is pretty much at the bottom of the to-do list - assuming if it is even on it.

Well, Manchukuo just annexes them now, and I kinda like that. They usually only do that late into/after the Sino-Japanese war. Considering they were annexed into the Chinese puppet state of Japan, that was established in Beijing this is sort of accuate.
