My guess is that March of the Eagles will have DLCs in the future but for now, I don't care about some DLCs because the game is so new. But in future I hope it will be some GOOD DLCs

i am not so sure about that. well, apparently the initial sales weren't that bad but really interesting would be how many still play the game. i have the feeling that it is too shallow for many so most already stopped playing.
can additional DLCs actually change that and more importantly bring the players back? lets wait for the first patch though.

I wouldnt be suprised to see a couple DLCs come out, but not for quite a while. There is a Victoria 2 expansion and a large CK2 DLC coming out soon and EU IV is coming out shortly after that. I would think one or two small content DLCs (not units or music DLCs) to be made for this game but the game is just so small for a paradox game that I think the best bet for expanded content and improved balance/playability is going to be through mods.

I would really like to see some DLCs, like the Revolutionary War or early campaigns, but more importantly, does anyone know approximately when will the first patch come out? I am sick and tired of bugged metaserver and chasing the same small army for more than half a year, over and over, hundreds of kilometers from their nearest supply line. It is just unrealistic for that period (I mean, the instances of this happening in real life are so rare that the only example I can think off from the top of my head would be the Czech Legion in Russia after the WWI, but that is completely different situation). Also, just out of the pure curiosity, can developers (if they are allowed to) share the number of copies sold thus far, and maybe give us the number of CKII copies sold last year in the first ten days, for comparison.

Judging from how the units are named in the folders and how OOBs etc are made, I think Paradox at least haven't let out the option. Why else would you entitle all OOBs with the date 1805, if you did not plan to add expansions to the timeframe and thus need a way to distinguish between OOBs for different scenarios?

I doubt it. I think it is a policy for games on steam not to share their sales data. Don't know why tho.

It is probably residue from the guys who originally made this game. There is stuff like that like the ROY tag in revolt_triggers. It was originally meant to be a grand strategy game, not just limited to the end of Le Revolution.

I would love a DLC called 'Pax France' in which France actually wins the Napoleonic Wars, takes whole of Italy, Iberia, most of Germany, Austria and North Africa. And in like 1830 all remaining nations of the world worm Eight Coalition and fight for freedom

"Also, just out of the pure curiosity, can developers (if they are allowed to) share the number of copies sold thus far, and maybe give us the number of CKII copies sold last year in the first ten days, for comparison."

I can't seem to find the sales figure of PI's games anymore but surely a lot more.
That wouldn't help the game at all.

"i am not so sure about that. well, apparently the initial sales weren't that bad but really interesting would be how many still play the game."

I don't know where you would get that, the game was in the top 10 of best saled games on steam for only 2 to 3 days.
Then was dropped to the third page. Now it's on the ninth page.
And if you take a look at what the games were on this top 10 at the time, they were all quite old games.
I wonder if they've sold more than 10k-15k copies, to be honest.
But apparently that's not a problem: http://www.edge-online.com/features/paradox-interactive-keeping-it-niche-0/

I personnaly didn't even know the game existed until it was released.
The game was titled "Napoleon's Campaigns II", I wonder why they didn't stick with it.
When I saw that title, March of the... I just didn't read the title entirely and thought "oh, an other HoI3 expansion".
And if I had known Sengoku was to be given if pre-ordered...
Same syndrom with their newsletter feed that I still don't know how to subscribe to.
And I would have loved an other EU3 copy^^.
Now I'm frustrated to have both missed EU3 and Sengoku.

It seems to me that we can expect as much from mods than from PI.
