Will joining a war of rebellion trigger my threat?

Apologies that the title doesn't make sense.

I'm playing as Byzantium, and just pressed a claim for one of my vassals on the Kingdom of Burgundy. As a result my threat is at 54%, and there are approximately two dozen rulers in defensive pacts against me.

Weeks after this happens, a rebellion starts against the King of Georgia...to press my claim as Byzantine emperor on Georgia.

My question is: if I offer to join the rebels' war, will that trigger the threat mechanic, i.e. will 24 other nations descend angrily on Georgia...?

Hoping someone can help. Problem with ironman games...

I'm fairly certain it won't. I've joined war while there was a defensive pact against me before, and it didn't trigger. Then again, that war wasn't for my claim.
