Podcat even mentioned there's a startup command you can use for HoI IV that makes it run on a single core for debugging, I recall him saying it basically makes the game unplayable.

Everyone in this thread is wrong. The facts are simple.

FACT: No PDX title makes use of more than 1 core.

Welp I guess I can just remove all of this code we have to use more than one core then.

Look if you wanna try out any of our games without multicore support to see a tangible difference, just launch the game with -threads=1

I recommend pdx to add 100 busy loop threads with low execution priority to fill in all the gaps to ensure that task manager shows 100% cpu utilization.

We received a fan suggestion to do Bitcoin mining once to satisfy the people demanding 100% core utilization.

Better idea: make your games free but come with a miner, that way you get even more people playing your games and making money for you for free!

I calculated for that but concluded it wouldn't make up for the loss of revenue. Besides, people would tamper with the client.
