Don't judge me for gaming on a MacBook Pro guys... its all I've got and I bought it before I was enlightened by PC gaming.

I can run a game like EU4 on my MacBook Pro (2015, 2.2 GHz Intel Core i7, 16GB 1600 MHz memory) quite well with no real issues in speed or graphics performance, but this game looks a whole lot nicer and more complex.

Will I be able to run this game on my MacBook Pro in anything but potato mode? Or will I have to wait until I buy a gaming PC later this year?

Opinions from devs would be highly valued as would opinions from people who actually know about computers unlike myself (obviously). All opinions are welcome however.

Thanks

Technically the Intel video is unsupported, but if it runs EU4 and CK2 okay I'd expect it to run I:R in some fashion, maybe with lowered graphics settings.

Hey, 2015 is 4 years old, and your macbook has an integrated GPU from intel. We have done mac compatibility testing internally, but as most of our customers are on windows, we dedicate most of our time to that platform.

My guess: You will be able to run with all graphic settings lowered and a low resolution (use UI scaling to make the UI work nicely). Buy it on steam, you will know within 2 hours, generally the performance of imperator doesnt change much over the length of a game.

Thanks for letting me know, I will likely still pre-order it then.
