Hello everybody :)

I don't want to be rude with Devs since I think they are doing a very good job but... there are somo buildings I don't actually like, for example the ultra modern silo... It's just ugly.
Do you know what building I'm talking about? I wonder if there's going to be a way to ban it to not appear.
By the way, I'm so excited since we just have to wait five days more :D:D:D

Good question. I can't stand the commercial building that looks like a pile of colored books.

In SC4 each architecture type was divided into a few different categories/themes, and you could turn on/off each group in case you didn't want certain styles to appear in the game. This way you could make your city entirely European, Art Deco, Postmodern, or even a mix, and give it a unique feel.

I don't think you can ban, but I think I remember a developer at one point saying that you could replace existing buildings with new downloaded models using the content manager. So you'd just need to wait until some modders created a new version of the building. I think that's right, anyway? Anyone else remember this being said? (Needless to say you can also add new buildings without replacing old ones, as well.)

It would be good if you could sort all the buildings into sets and then select which sets you wish to use in game. That way you could exclude buildings you don't like or give a city a particular aesthetic. You could even set which building set each district uses so you could create China town or old medieval districts.

YES Please. Let us do it as mods or mod sets which we select which buildings are available. Even if a building is installed, If I add a mod which blacklists it, it never spawns.
