Will HoI IV have different scenarios?

By scenarios, I mean stuff like HoI III had the Africa campaign, plus the various starting dates. This is important for certain modding purposes, such as a total conversion mod for a fictional universe (for example, battletech) where different starting dates is a viable option.

There will be a 1936 and a 1939 starting date.

If by scenarios, you only mean like North Africa with everything else blacked out, then I don't believe that's in the game. The devs at least have never mentioned it nor showed it.

Whether or not it's in this game isn't as important as the possibility for different scenarios. That there are different starting dates is sufficient, as it means we can change map ownership between them as much as we want.

That doesn't confirm what I ask though. It asks if modders can make a new map, whereas I'm asking if multiple "maps" (and by that I mean the world map with different nations and etc., not a change in the geography of the map) can be made for a single umbrella mod.

So say a Winter War Scenerio between USSR and Finland? Yes, that could be done. Hell, you could have Black ants vs Red ants, fighting for supremacy of the backyard, with some work, of course...and if you don't mind lining your ants up into divisions....actually that might be kinda cool.
