helicopters werent in HoI III, they just were some bonus to manpower trickleback tho. There werent a actuall units.i was hoping for that, HOI 3 had them, but oh well, maybe in a future patch
Which is fair, the Sikorsky R-4 did see WW2 service doing pilot rescue, but yeah, actual troop-carrying helos were years away, much less gunships.helicopters werent in HoI III, they just were some bonus to manpower trickleback tho. There werent a actuall units.
helicopters would be best if portrayed in the same way as tanks currently are in HOI 4.
What? They were used for spotting, ASW, and casualty/pilot recovery. Not like tanks at all.

are your sure that you arent mistaking Hearts of Iron II with Darkest Hour?HoI 2 did have them though! I remember when you upgraded your infantry to them, they became little helicopter symbol. Then again, I think HOI2 went up until 1964, because I remember there being events for the 1952 and 1960 presidential elections in the US. So it made more sense for that game I guess.
