I'm curious how, if in any way, Fallen Empires will be changing. If nothing is known, I just wonder what people are speculating. The biggest question I have is about materialist empires and ringworlds, a megastructure that will be locked behind a special ascension perk. Now, it is safe to say that any fallen empire that has a ringworld will probably have the relevant perk but my big question is: will ringworlds be the ONLY megastructure we'll see fallen empires using?
Not only that, but will fallen empires even necessarily spawn with a mega structure where applicable? What if they spawn with terriforming ascension and have every one of their worlds be gaia? (I'm kinda hoping we can terriform colonized worlds to gaia in Utopia). I'm sure there's some perks they likely won't spawn with (like species endgame probably, maybe, hopefully ;n; ) but ascension will affect how all nations play and I'm certain fallen empires will be no exception
