Will EUIV Run ?

Hi everyone I’m new on the forum but not on the Europa universalis series ( I starting playing with EU3).
I would like to know if in your opinion the game will run decently on the new MacBook 13 with no touchbar.
These are the specs:

• 2.3GHz dual-core 7th-generation Intel Core i5 processor
• Turbo Boost up to 3.6GHz
• 8GB 2133MHz LPDDR3 memory
• 128GB SSD storage1
• Intel Iris Plus Graphics 640. I hope that someone can help me.

It should run just fine. but it may lag late game on higher speeds. This game is all about the CPU and yours seems to be decent.

I'd be surprised, since my laptop (6th gen i7 dual core, stronger gpu, same RAM) is basically unable to run the game at any satisfying speed (ie. it lags hard since day 1) anymore, ever since devastation was introduced. :/

I would think it will be fine. Your CPU is pretty decent.

I would guess it would run rather well, I get good performance out of a system that is roughly equal, minus the SSD
