Will divisions get auto-refitted?

I was watching WWW and saw that they kept adding additional battalions to their divisions. Will these new upgrades to the divisions be added to already built ones?
Here is an example, lets say o have 10 divisions and each has 10 battalions. Then I add 1 battalion in the division designer, will all the divisions get refitted with another battalion for 11 each?

Yes. All divisions of that template will be changed.

You can assign new templates to some divisions but not others as well. For example you clone the infantry template for free then make changes to the new one using xp and save it. Now you can select some divisions that are using the first template and assign them to the new one. they will upgrade whilst the others using the original stay the same.
