I have a question to the developers - do you think about giving players again the possibility to manually change the borders of sectors? Obviously, other players are welcome to reply in my topic.

I understand that for some players this kind of micromanagement can be annoying, but some players would prefer to decide how sectors in their empires look. To ensure that all players will be satisfied, there can be two options - manual adjusting the borders or automatic adjusting.

It's only micro if you need to do it to be competitive. Stuff like genemodding, unemployment, overpopulation, etc etc.

Provided that the current system stays, where it blobs over every available star within 4 jumps, then I say it's a welcome addition.

In case anyone reading along isn't aware, you can adjust your sector borders by changing which system is the sector capital. This is currently free to do. Sector capitals extend the sector out to 4 jumps, ignoring worm holes, gateways, and L-gates. Habitat tech essentially allows you to carve out custom sector borders within those limitations.
