For now we have "only" 3 expansions for EU - it is planed fourth or it comes to end ?

Napoleon, Nomine, Heir, and Divine Wind. Sounds like four to me. I don't know anything about Paradox's plans going forward, but I'd guess that EU3 is done so that development can focus on Vic2, HoI3, and CK2 (as well as possibly more development on Sengoku).
As mentioned, PI has a lot of other titles to focus on, so as far as we know EU3 doesn't have any planned expansions coming up in the near future. Whether or not there will be is really unknown. A lot of people believe EU4 is more likely than another expansion, but that was said before DW as well, so it's hard to say what the future may hold.
I'd be among those people. You don't usually see more than one or two expansion packs for a game; EUIII already has four, and Paradox have put together a new engine for use in Sengoku and Crusader Kings II. My bets are all on a sequel rather than expansion.
You know, this game is from 2007. Making expansions for 5 year old games is pretty ridiculous.
I would love to see another expansion. But I think it is highly unlikely that there will ever be one. In the end it has all to do with sales. A release has to be economically viable. Go to Gamers Gate and buy a few thousand copies of DW and we will defiantly have a fifth expansion. 
Edit/Offtopic: A "Group On" kind of deal would be an interesting business concept for a game developer. "If 10.000 people pay us 25 Euro each in advance (preorder), we will make the expansion. If we do not reach our goal no expansion will be made and you get your money back".

I assume they will have another expansion... EU4 hasn't even been announced yet, and honestly the expansions for Clausewitz games are very different from expansions for most games. They really don't take that long to do, and you don't need a huge team... just depends on whether or not they want to, and every indication has been that they will continue to release at least one expansion per year for their flagship game(EU3).
I'd assume there will be another expansion. Don't see paradox ending EU3 in a long time. I've never seen EU3 forum so active as it's now, with a lot of new players showing up.
Seconded. The hordes are now or LoL(5.0) and russia never forms, or OMGWTFITBGBHHOTTOMB and russia never forms. And so i would call Muscowy as orthodox monarchic/byzantic type of ordu in history, in game I would call it kind of GH snack.
It's an idea that's been floated around a few times by various people in both the videogame and book industries as ways of adapting to piracy.
Kickstarter and IndieGoGo are two ways in particular for doing this, and not limited to just large corporations - anyone is allowed to start a project or donate.
Im sure they wil fix problems with DW, it is not that long time after it was relased. So they can keep patching cycles. Some companys still make patches (but at slow pace) for games with no new contend (no new expansion/dlc) which are 3+ years old. Very nice example is matrix games with thier war in the pacific and latter admirals edition.

Part of the reason Russia never forms is the requirement for the Lithuanian provinces. If the GH gets beaten back by Europe, you still need to get those provinces from Lithuania. Thanks to the other stuff in Europe being a little saner as well, this is not as trivial as it could be.
If Lithuania falls, you can end up needing to get those provinces from the HRE, or someone in the empire, and thus protected by the Emperor.
Not only that, but you need one of two relatively powerful states to more or less completely eliminate the other form it to form, and that assumes none of the key provinces are taken by anyone else. I've seen Sweden being 2/3 of the way there, but with no reasonable way to get the other 1/3 without attacking the Emperor and his vassal swarm. Russia, much like in history, is not a guaranteed event.

There are 12 year old games out there still coming out with expansions
As for patches/expansion(s)/sequel(s), does someone know if PI gets inspiration from (or consider downright copy of) mods ?
An issue I find is that some mods can't be combined.
I see some cool mods around that you lovely integrate in the core game. Be it only as option to tick (or not) at the start of/during a campaign.

I reckon we'll see a CK2 expansion before anything else for the EU series, and god knows when that would be.
