Yeah, hard to describe in one sentence. Let's assume I'm USA, allied with France, I declare war on UK and call France, and they join the war. We lose battles early in the war and UK adds Wargoals for French colonies and occupies them, but then I start winning on my front enough to drive the total Warscore positive, even though France's contribution is negative and getting worse. My question is, will France sign a separate peace with UK where they give up their colonies, or will UK let them off with a white peace, or will France just wait for me to finish the war?
I ask, because I want to consolidate the colonies in the Caribbean any way I can and then take them myself from one owner, and I don't care if France takes the UK's colonies or the UK takes France's colonies -- either way it will save me Infamy down the road (and I'm planning a lot of other wars, so I need to be Infamy-efficient).
