Wilhelm II - is he in HOI IV?

So i asked this question a while back in a dev diary and didn't get a response, but i'm still curious. Is Wilhelm II in HOI IV at all?

Afterall, there was a very real possibility of his return to germany in 1938 had things taken a turn for the worse.

RP wise, it would be quite fun to play a German Empire under Wilhelm II - with still strong reasons to go to war with the allies such as alsace lorraine, danzig etc. Although for the sake of the game we'd have to assume Wilhelm lives just a few more years (at least until 1948!)

Hopefully! There are events for Trotsky and Mosley, and given how popular the Kaiserreich mod/concept is I would be pretty surprised if there wasn't a way to bring back the Kaiser. It should very rarely happen, though.

I agree this would be very great. However, Wilhelm II would still probably die in 1941, meaning his son Wilhelm III would take over, so you'd need to add him in too.

By Germany actually going to war with Czechoslovakia (hah, spelled it right first time) over the Sudetenland in '38; of course, instead, the Allies backstabbed the Czechoslovakians, basically giving Germany the rights to the Sudetenland to avoid war. "Peace for our time" and all that jazz.

Oster was a German Major General who, along with other members of the German high command, were looking for ways to depose Hitler. This particular plan included storming key parts of Berlin and assassinating Hitler, then attempting to take control of the government and re-instituting Kaiser Wilhelm II.
The plan was never triggered because the quite possible war with Czechoslovakia didn't happen, and many of the same German leaders were parts of later plots to overthrow the Nazi regime (such as the July 20th Plot).

I sense some rose-tinted lenses; the German Empire (2nd Reich) was arguably almost as much of a despotic dictatorship as the Third Reich.
...Not that I disagree; I would love the option, and know many others would as well.

Definitely rose tinted, I see the 2nd Reich as a continuation of Prussia and I love it. Though I would think the 3rd has a lot of ideology thrown in which led it down bad street.

Monarchs were quite crazy. They were all cousins in WWI (the King,the Kaiser and the Czar) and they started the bloodbath of WWI. Brutality of WWI created a lot of WWII brutality.
