Wiki Cheat events not firing...

Hey. Even if I bring down the command box and enter the event cheats there and nil... is there anything I am doing wrong?

ok, I will go thru and check them but I am sure they are ok, I take it tho the ones posted on hearts of iron 2 wiki do work?

Actually, I've been having the same problem, but only in the Doomsday scenario, no matter what country I use. In other scenarios, they work fine.

I haven't had a problem with them.

Have you tried rebooting your computer and then running the game? I have found that when games act buggy, well more so then normal, restarting the computer is a good idea.

tried and failed... the events just do nothing... I type either event 3295 or event 3299 in the command box and nothing happens

The reason the codes such as event 1012 or 1013 dont work in the doomsday scenario is because the random.txt isnt part of the scenario file.

there from wikipedia you cant always expect they will always work.

I think some of the cheats don't work because well, they were replaced by others.

The scenario only includes a specific list of event files so if you create a new file instead of adding to an existing one you'll need to add that file to the list. You can add an event = line in the scenario's .eug file or in db\events.txt (as long as that file is included in the .eug file).
