I have somekind of problem with the fact that children never survive in the wife-dies-in-labour thing. It always says the child died too, is there someway it can be changed?

sorry if this was already posted somewhere

Is hardcoded, so can't be changed

You couldn't create a second event that kills the wife but spares the child?

Or it would be impossible to time at the moment of birth?

I don't think that is possible, at least not to time it exactly with the birth of the baby.

But it should be possible to write an event that lets a mother die, but that then can happen even if the child already is, say, 4 years old

Unless you set the character condition :

Code:
		condition = { type = not value = { type = age value = 1 } }

Then the event shall have to fire in the first year of the child....

EDIT : But anyways, why create yet another event killing the mother.... the other one fires already too often :p
