I finally made the "AHOI-Treasure-GEM-GUI" available for the vanilla HOI3(Semper Fi) users.
So you can now play std HOI3 with a resolution of 1280*768 and have also a better overview of production, trading screens etc..

I was thinking also about a version with 1600*1024 as a higher resolution makes it hard to read the descriptions on the screen. And also it is high enough to get an very good overview over all aspects of the screen info already.

What do you think?

1024*768 is still used, this is why I.C.E. is build with this resolution in mind (no more than 2 rows of tech folders for instance).

I use 1920*1200 on my primary screen and 1920*1080 on my secondary one.

I've always liked high resolutions...
I use 1920x1060 (is it 60? something like that) on main monitor and 1280x something for secondary (aka tv)..
Planning on resizing some pictures or?

If only the panels (tech, diplo, etc) would expand to fit and not remain the same (small) size in the middle, so I won't feel the urge to lean closer every time... (wishful thinking)

1920x1080 if I'm running fullscreen, most of the time though I use 1680x1050 so I can have various other windows up or 1024x768 so I can have TV in the other half of the screen, I have a 1280x1024 secondary display but I haven't actually needed to use it in ages.

I'm actually planning to buy a laptop which can give me a 2560*1440 resolution for the monitor that I will buy with it. One of the reasons will be for Hoi3. I've noticed that the higher the resolution, the more information you can see in a glance. Hoi3 is pretty limited in information so the more you can take in, the better. 1080p is really the lowest setting you want to play the game on.

Anyway, I use 1024x768 because my desktop resolution is only 1028x1024 and I play in Windowed mode. It helps a lot with working on text files at the same time
