Why does the forum keep logging me out without notifying me while I'm in the middle of composing a post? Can't it tell that I'm actively typing in a post?

The forum logs you out after about 10-15 minutes if you don't have 'remember me' checked. If you are in the habit of making long posts you'll get logged out before you hit the 'submit post' button.

I suggest either using the 'remember me' option (and just log out when you're done) or saving your post if you made a long one. Just use CTRL + A, CTRL + C, then paste it in a new text document in notepad. When the post doesn't get through you can simply use what you had saved in notepad.

The latest upgrade added an autosave post as well, so if you relog you may be able to load in a partially saved post.

O.K. Thanks. I use privacy rules with my browser but didn't know they could cause this issue. I'll keep this in mind for future posts I expect to be lengthy.
