General James 'Jimmy Doolittle and his Raiders are personal heroes to me and have been since i began studying the War as a young boy. Doolittle past away when i was 13. He is the embodiment of a True American as was his Raiders in so many ways. I did get to meet 16 of the Raiders at Reunion on 18 April 2006 and it was a very special day for me to salute with them. I teach my students about General Doolittle every year and on the 18 April, we stop class to toast the Raiders. I was so happy to see him included as a minister in HOI4 despite the lack of AF commanders

That reminds me: I must do an event for that for the mod I have been wondering about additional US ones and the Doolittle raid is perfect. Thanks greatly for the inadvertent prompt!

I remember back in hearts of iron 2 there was an event added in a mod i used which incorporated an event for the Doolittle raid on 18 April 1942. I loved that and love that you will be making the event yourself. If i can help in any way, i will gladly contribute. Just let me know!
