Also Texas was the home of the 36th Infantry Division, Audie Murphy, Eisenhower and Nimitz as well as many others and, supposedly, provided the largest percentage of men to the armed forces of any state.

The first paradox game I played was eu4, and the First Nation I played was Lithuania, so there you go
Because if anybody coined the term, "I'll be back", it was MacArthur. That and I think his post-war accomplishments in getting Japan back on its feet rival what he did during the war.
I picked Alexander Gorbatov because:
A: The name has frigging epic ring to it (Alexandeeeer GORBATOOV~~).
B: Everyone uses cool looking and well known people (nothing wrong with that), but to vary things I decided to go with someone modest looking but respectable as well.
C: After some small research he apparently was both a WW1 & 2 veteran and had to endure life of force labour and torture thanks to the great purge, just to come back again later to the battlefield.
(he is also know to be a good commander but I don't know much about his exploits as of now)

Instead of saying "I'll be back" with a robotic/Austrian accent, didn't MacArthur actually say, "I shall return?" I suppose I could just google it but I like to pretend that I remember stuff.
I invaded Earth during after the Nazis won WWII (they were militarist xenophobe humans with the iron cross and skull flag in the Atomic era). Punished them dearly.
