Why wont they sign peace?

So launched a game as Normandy today. Took over England (which took forever to hand out to vassals) and then let the game continue, waiting for that expected french declaration of war. It is now 1084, 18 years after starting the game, and for some reason the initial Seljuk invasion of Armenia has not finished. At one point I saw that the Byzantines had 100% war score, and yet peace was not declared. Now the Seljuk's have 100% war score, no peace declared. Anyone explain this?

Also is there any reason that Catholicism would be declared an orthodox heresy from the beginning of the game?

If you'd just played or loaded a game where the Schism had been mended, occasionally starting a new game will have Catholicism still registered as an Orthodox heresy at game start. Closing CK2 and rebooting it before starting a new game tends to prevent this problem from happening.

Right thanks for that information! Anyone know what's happening with the peace offerings though? I tried another game to see if they would make peace, but alas no, they continued the endless war! Really confused about this.

I have no idea why the Byzantines wouldn't force peace at 100%, but perhaps the Seljuks wanted every holding in Armenia, which makes sense. Why would they leave the job half-finished and have angry Greek Orthodox vassals under them?

Right now they occupy much of Anatolia, as well as all of Armenia, so i think the job is done. It is getting really annoying now, because I got dragged into the war as well! I think i'm just going to have to load the game up as one of the two, and make one surrender because it is getting ridiculous!

Edit: Just realized that the Fatimid's are doing it to now in their holy war for Antioch, which was launched around teh start of the game. What is going on here!

I'd assume peace not being forced at 100% warscore is a bug.
