When it comes to dicussing EU1 and the upcoming EU2 and what we would like to see in it, shouldn't we ask ourselves why we play the game? I play because, as a history buff, I know what really happened and I want to see if I can do it better. When playing France in the Grand Campaign it really excites me when I can vassalize Lorraine and then annex her. It also excites me to wait until the Netherlands revolts and then ally myself with her and beat up on Spain. I could go on and on about playing other countries but we all have our own ideas about how we play them. I have played France 3 seperate times in the Grand Campaign and each time has been different and enjoyable. Does any of the new things in EU2 really matter as long as it does not take away from the fun of playing the game
