Maybe some were, but I haven't really found any.

It's actually pretty odd, because it's obviously the same engine and obviously the same style (although yes, obviously, some things are not identical, like the stylizing of characters).

But there's plenty of things that could've been lifted straight into the game, such as small caves, parts of wilderness areas, clothes (I think that many of the clothing assets used in PoE, especially the more "barbarian" stuff, would've fitted right in, like Dyrwoodan Clothing.

This could've actually padded the game quite a bit, and before anyone criticizes me on that note, "padding" being generally seen as useless, I think that padding can actually serve a purpose as long as it does not come across as artificial. A good wilderness area is always welcome, even though it amounts to 90% exploration, and padding in terms of gears and equipment is nearly always welcome, even if it's just cosmetic variations of a basic item (which Tyranny already exhibits).

Is there some reason I may not have thought of? It just seems like a bit of a wasted opportunity.

Aren't most of the consumables icons directly ported from PoE and just renamed? Or am I missing the point?

Yes, that's true - many of the consumables icons are lifted straight from PoE, which sorta threw me off at first, because I thought that the Potion of Resurrection (or whatever it's called.. revival?) was a Bottle of Oil. :D

I believe this is due to the fact, that the game went to a better character art direction, and stylized art. Meaning, geometry was changed, as well as textures, as a consequence - skinning and animations. That made impossible to fully reuse assets that were in PoE. Though, I assume to a certain degree they reused them.
