Ok, after searching the forum for some time and could not find something to it, because to the huge amounts of comments, i just ask here.
It started with some of the new patches after 2.2: the overlay was changed. For example marriage: Before you just press on the rings, then you choose your mate and marry. Everything with left-click. Good, clean and simple.
Now: on your ruler you press on the rings with leftclick, then you choose your mate and press RIGHT-click to marry. If you press left-click, just the portrait shows up. At the beginning i was nearly despairing at this.... change.
At your court it is an complete other topic, because the rings are gone. Before you were just marrying them off like your ruler, choosing the best one and it is good. Now? You can only marry them off easily in your OWN court. If you want to marry them to somebody outside, you have to follow some longer, more complicate steps.
For me the game was mostly about marrying. Building a strong family. With good abilities. The court was my currency. Invading other countries was not my goal. And now? This is gone.
Because of this i can only play with version 2.2. At least it was possible to patch back.
But why was it made so complicate? Why? I hate it, when programs, i use very often, bring out some major patch and then change everything. I hate it. When you have to search a long time for simple things you were used to find very fast before and they just change it. Why? Because they can... This is not user-friendly, this is just f***ed up.
When Microsoft was bringing out windows 8 with the vanished start-button, the whole world was hating them for it. Windows 8 was criticised a lot for it, nobody wanted it. A big change. And now paradox is trying the same thing?
Why? Am i am the only one, who has problems with this?
