I mean, Common Sense, El Dorado and Res Publica were announced roughly 1 month before their release; Art of War was the special case as the name of an expansion was known very early.
As for Cossacks, it looks like all advertised Main Features have been already covered by DDs, the expansion was annouced 3 weeks ago, DDs go on for like 2 months and we still have no announcement... On wiki Cossacks have more DDs devoted to it than any other DLC. And still no info![]()
Clearly it's because it's secretly Victoria 3.![]()
Let Wiz have a good time planning and writing Dev Diaries. They'll release Cossacks when he wants to move on to other diaries![]()
IIRC, it has been announced that there is an ETA... sometime before the end of the year. And marketing logic would dictate probably before Christmas so they can get some of those holiday sales.
I hope when they do actually work on Victoria 3, they never tell anybody. When they announce it they say they've been working on it for a while and the release date is RIGHT NOW!
The ETA for The Cossacks moves back one day every time someone asks for it. It was originally supposed to come out in 2013.
Patience, grasshopper.
Sure it was for CKII, but the Old Gods was announced something like 6 months before release.I mean, Common Sense, El Dorado and Res Publica were announced roughly 1 month before their release; Art of War was the special case as the name of an expansion was known very early.

But that has already occurred!Or when the sun rises in the west and sets in the east, when the seas go dry and mountains blow in the wind like leaves, then you shall have your Cossacks.
You blew it by revealing it was reverse psychology though...Well I for one do not want this stinking Cossack DLC! (Secretly hopes reverse psychology bumps up release by one day)
