Why the 1.24 Ming nerf is a right idea but done wrongly。

I don't think the game should punish players who play well. I think the game should make it harder to play well. Accepting culture shouldn't be an easy one-click 100 dip payment, it should be a long (~20 years?) process. Non-accepted cultures should have harsher penalties. Stating provinces that aren't of your culture group should bring additional penalties. Cost to core should increase the further you get from the closest state.

I don't know, some of these are probably crazy. But sometimes it feels like the game wants you to blob out of control with little to no repercussions.

In history people like Alexander, Cyrus the Great, Zhu... all "played well", that doesn't mean their empires should hold firmer than the Earth in the case of an asteroid, if someone did well you should bring him more challenges and remove those stupid world conquest achievements

The real fundamental problem here is that internal politics in Eu4 are very basic,
I think Estates were meant to be something like this but they are way too basic and can't really punish you much
What PDX always did in last years,is endless new machanics. Many of them are very inspirational and have great potential, but PDX never made a further use of them.I'd be really glad to see PDX was not satisfied by status quo ,or couldn't wait to fill us mouth with more of their countless new cool idea, but just picked back these potential half-finished

"Northern Hordes and Southern Pirates" were the biggest foreign troubles for Ming. It would be great if there is another disaster which relates somehow with the trade, diplomacy or tributary system.
