The price shouldn't be changed to higher during production. Once you built something big (battleship)then other battleships in production should get reduced cost. If you buid infantry 1 div at a time, then your practical gain will be lower than decay.

I think so. But the price altered(factory:4.50IC & 1939Dec5 → 4.90IC & 1939Dec20 ).

My play version is 2.04e.

The cost changes because you built a unit. This causes the production queue to check its practicals, and it notices that your construction practical has decayed by X amount, so it updates the cost of the factory. If you build a factory for 8 months without building any units, and then build a unit at that point, you can see the price shift by a large amount because of an accumulated decay in practical.

This ocurred in single production,but not in serial production.
So,I never choice single production because I don't want to see the price up!

Serials do not change anything in HoI3.
Price will always adjust to circumstances, except if IC allocation for it is 0%, in which case it will simply readjust next time allocation is >0%.

I may be incorrect, but I seem to recall that there were complaints about the original release not adjusting the prices and times, so a "serial build" would never take the Practical points gained from building the first unit into consideration for subsequent units in the que. In effect, serial builds were pointless, except to save yourself from tedious micromanagement at the expense of production capacity. I don't remember when it was changed, but it seems to work better now.

Serial builds add to micromanagement as the next item in serial build does not get latest tech as opposed to starting a new unit at that time.

So you have to remember whether new tech was researched while previous serial item was built and then cancel when the previous build ends to restart with new tech.

It would be nice to see serials changed such that it wasn't more advantageous to cancel the serial and build a new, fresh unit when upgrades occur, etc.

Upgrades are fairly cheap.
A real micromanager doesn't take "cheap" vs "I can have it for free with a little more clicking" as an alternative. ;)

This is especially bad for AI since it tends to do up to 4-serials (during which time there can be more than 1 level of tech upgrades), even more so as fixing it requires one line of code in one distinct function. ;)
