So I checked the first of quill18's new videos, which showed me all the bookmarked startdates for the first time. I then noticed that the War of the Austrian Succession wasn't included. This seems pretty strange to me, since it was a multicontinental eight years long war with two of Europe's most famous leaders (Maria Theresa and Frederick the Great) taking the center stage. It seems like a no-brainer to incluse for all the Austria and/or Prussia fans. It can't be the fact that it's only 16 years before the Seven years' war, since there are alot of bookmarks who are just as close to each other, like the American and French revolutions (13 years apart), the New World and League of Cambrai (16 years) and the two first bookmarks (7 years)
Speaking of which, the bookmarks seems to be really unevenly distributed with some (the ones previously mentioned) being really close to each other while others are really far apart. For example, there's 61 years between Cambrai and and the 80 Years' War. But even that is nothing compared to the massive gaping hole of 83 years between the 30 Years' War and the Spanish Succession. Seriously, there's only a single bookmark in the entire 17th centure, at the very beginning. Compare this to the five bookmarks in the 18th century. The 15th century also has a whopping three bokmarks despite only half of the century actually being in the ame while the 16th only has two. Seriously, we seem to be dealing with some kind of mid-game drought of bookmarked startdates here.
