I'm just a bit curious, but why are there no events concerning the Spanish flu in the WW1 scenario? Historically, it was a devastating illness that had a major impact not only on the conduct of the war, but also on the homefronts, affecting commerce and industrial production. Between three and six percent of the worlds population perished - in many areas the mortality rate was even higher, with entire native populations all but wiped out. Entire military bases and training centers were paralyzed, with 20 to 60 percent of the personnel sick with the illness - industry and transportation ground to a halt due to the lack of workers. It was one of the defining events of the first half of the 20th century - yet there is nothing about it in game. No events, no nothing. Seems a bit odd.

I'm sure you could mod it. Strength hits to units, manpower losses to countries, organisation loss to paralyse units like you mentioned.

It was probably not put in because it mostly fell outside of the original timeline of the war.

It could also be used to set up a semi-playable and semi-plausible interbellic period by nerfing all/most countries (can't remember the flu's specifics atm) into the ground.

Hoo boy, double epic fail. No, there aren't any rules against discussing epidemics that I'm aware of.

In eu3 there is plague from time to time that lowers manpower.
So It could have been in DH as well, loss of manpower and a random minister dies.

Be advised, in DH you must also remove strength from land units and "build" negative manpower in provinces to get the desired effect. Removing manpower must be done in multiple commands, depending on mobilization.

In eu3 there is plague from time to time that lowers manpower.

CK also has dysentery, malaria, the Black Death, population starvation etc.

I think that there does need to be a series of events focused around Spanish influenza.
