In CK3 they won't give their attributes to your character as in CK2 but you landless spouse will. However why not add a 4th option for each counselor to add maybe 30% of their job attribute to your character while the action is ongoing which could maybe be quite useful in certain situation or atleast more useful than the other actions and maybe no less unrealistic than your spouse adding attributes to your character.
