Why isn't Paradox offering a collecters edition for HOI 3 like it did for Rome? I bought the one for Rome, and would happily pay more to my favorite game company in exchange for some trinkets, just for the opportunity to support them.

What is there to collect that you could put in the box? A plastic tank? A nazi flag? lol. If you buy the CE edition HOI, France will surrender twice as fast?

They could always make some action figures: Churchill, Rommel, Stalin, Yammamoto...you press a button and their eyes light up and they say something cool. :rofl:
Actually, the Hearts of Iron Anthology (up to Armageddon) had a little medal with the Paradox Fossil on it, as well as a World Province Map.
Both were kind of nice.
Lots of other cool stuff. If there's Room, they could do a nice little Officer's Cap. Or a T-shirt. Bonus material is Boring, of course, but how about a coffee mug...

Normally the CEs contain a game map - I cant help but think that the massive ramping up of scale on the HOI3 map may make it impossible to print cost effectively. Remove the map and there goes a lot of the point of CE...

If and when Paradox does release a CE, I will buy it for sure. I need something to go beside Caesar's bust from the Rome CE!

Anyways, yes i would definitely by a collector's edition.
If there won't be a collector's edition, i hope paradox will announce that there won't soon.
I would understand if they didn't make one, as doing the map would take up alot of space.
I would like to know though, because then i will go and secure a pre-order for HOI3, instead of waiting in case they announce a collector's edition.

Paradox you guys do one hell of a job. I fully support you, but my demands are a Collectors Edition containing some of the following: World Map, Medal, Action figure of Johan, Paradox Tatoos, HOI3 Bumper Sticker, Shiny Metal box for HOI3, Autographed picture of the whole HOI3 team, oh and hand delivered by Michael Wittman would be nice, Kurt Meyer is cool too. That is all
