Why make a scenario for EUI?

Why isn't you making this scenario for Europa Universalis 2? If you like EU so much i'm sure you must own EU2. Do you think EU1 is better than EU2´? If so, why?

I don´t own EUII, I am content with my EUI, HOI, COTN and VC, soon to be CK as well...

I'll buy a second copy soon - Pan has released two 'Ultimate Strategy Game' Collections and one contains Vicky and Legion, filling a gap for me, but it also contains EU2. (The other pack contains EU1, HoI1 and CoW, iirc)

Mainly because we dont have it. Just look at Yoggie. He made a bunch of scenarios for EU and only about 3 for EU2. Plus im just starting scenario making so I dont want to go to another game no matter how similiar.

True, true... there is something with EU 1 that wontt loosen you from its grip!

I have probably purchased atleast a dozen games since I acquired EU 1 but there is always a EU 1, with the latest patch, installed on 2 of my computers. Call me sentimental but as EU 2 couldnt kill EU 1 off I doubt an 3 or even a 4 will manage to do it either EU 2 got many advantages but EU 1 offers faster game play and less details to hold in track thus it will probably always attract ppl more found of this then dozens of events...

Besides the only thing missing from Eu-Eu2 is a few provinces, some countries, and the ability to select what nation you want to be lazily. I think I'll make a new scenario for Eu if someone gives me an idea just to piss you guys off.

Yup and the latest patches and stuff help the game come really very close to Eu2 plus why should we not make patches did I miss a rule?

Start by reading Yogurts "how to make a basic Secario" and ask around in the Sce. and Mods forum for some tips. Also hey welcome mate!

And I'm sure if you like EU1&2 so much, you must own the board game, too. No? Why not? It has many advantages (prime being the game never CTD :wacko: ).
