Why is there no popup saying another nation wants to enforce peace on you

I just found out the Mamluks joined a war against me they shouldnt have. Only by scrolling up through the log did I see there was an enforce peace demand. no popup, no message, nothing. Either my message setting are messed up or that strikes me as a huge oversight? I have not been able to find the option in the message settings, which strikes me as strange.

I think it appears as an alert in the top left, like when a nation offers you a peace deal.

Unfortunately, it's very easy to miss it (or ignore it under the assumption that it's yet another laughable peace offer).

I agree that it would be good if "enforce peace" interactions were forced to be popups, like when an ally calls you to war.

I went through the message settings in detail and havent found anything. I'll make a suggestion in the subforum cause this would be rather useful as a popup and pause option

Yeah, it's not in the message settings. (I've had the same urge several times myself.)

Unfortunately it only lasts for a few months so if you're playing at speed 5 you can literally not see it if you look away for 15s.

I think every other of these offers is ignorable with no penalty, so players are used to ignoring all the peace offer/mil access spam.

Have you considered not playing on speed 5? Especially during a war?

You need to get more OCD so no notification will be ignored. I have to click on every one every time or I got nuts. Just don’t speed read them like I do and miss something important.

There is even a confirm dialogue popping up that you have to interact with if a nation enforces peace on you. Well, "have to interact", if you do not interact with it because of, say, speeding over at speed 5 and never realizing it amongst the spam on your screen, it defaults to "Screw you, come at me!!!".
