Probably censored due to pending litigation ffom Ridley Scott for musical copyright infringement of the Prometheus movie sound track. Can’t remember the name of the track but one of them is a huge ripoff of the Prometheus movie’s main theme.

The intervals and instruments are EXACTLY the same in the main parts. Easy case for PDS to lose.

Heh, if I’m right see if the word Batman is censored as well, because again, another track rips off the Dark Knight Rising soundtrack (can’t be certain which Batman movie it is was, but definitely one of them).

I hate to rain on your parade, but you're way over-complicating it. "Prometheus" is censored because of the word "meth" being in it. And "torpedo" because it has "pedo" in it. They're just going over the top with censorship, pretty much.

Yeah, I see that now. Lmao because the game is censoring a self generated planet name, qoCLITe.

The lazy way to comply with console ToS is to just apply their preexisting profanity list to the game. Can't say if Stellaris did that, but that's the usual reason.
It almost certainly is. There are no profanity filters at all on the pc version. You can name anything as offensively as you want. There aren't even any on the forum, you can type anything here and it will appear. Of course, the moderators might take issue if you're crossing the line, but regardless, the point remains:
Paradox has no interest in censoring you.
Their game was ported to consoles by Tantalus, who presumably implemented this profanity filter to comply with the ToS of the systems.
