Why is Res Publica 50% off while Wealth of Nations is only 33%?

Hi all,

Thank you for noticing, we have so many items on sale (about 400 total) and a lot of things too coordinate at the launch of this kind of sale so that is just as someone here referred to a mistake. We usually don't do promotions in the first 3 months and not above 50% for something released in the last 6 months. But Wealth of Nations and the Trade Nation and Muslim Ships should be on 50% off as well. We will do our very best to try to fix that tonight together with the Steam guys. If we doesn't manage we'll the three DLC's next week on our own website for 50% off!

Good for you to know, Steam to our knowledge doesn't really do that kind of one day extra deep discounts any longer so what you see now is what you get.

Hi Chicken Spadge,

I am 110% sure it won't change during the sale. But it is a new way for Steam arranging their sales of this kind so clearly we have haven't managed to communicate clearly that their process have changed internally and hence miss-communicated. Please excuse our unclear messaging, I'll see with my colleagues what we can do to update that text if possible!

marat271, EUIV should been at 75% the whole sale.

Neoton, Chicken Spadge, we will run the WoN (EUIV DLC) at 50% off on our own webstore this week instead, www.paradoxplaza.com. Just hold on and give us the day to get it set up properly. Steam didn't want to move it from 33% to 50% during the term of the ssale which I understand.

I must say I really appreciate your diligence about who writes here and good thing you questioned the fact if I was for real or not. But I can assure you, I'm the EVP Biz Dev and Sales here at Paradox
Many thanks to BjornB for the very nice profile picture, I haven't been around enough in the forums but certainly will now.

And our "pre-registered auto set it on sales" function on our web apparently not worked and I didn't notice being out travelling visiting developers, so I am most grateful for you all getting this to my attention again!
