Battle screen says it's +14.40% :

I bring 32 of the max 36 planes. That's 88.88%

Battle is in Mountains. -10% to Air support:

I have Dive Bombing and Hunt and Destroy from Air Doctrine:

The Base attack buff from Air support should be +25%
+40% from doctrine would make it (25*(1+40/100)) = +35%
I'd get +35% if I fit as much CAS as possible.
That gives with the 88.88% (32 of 36) -> +35% * 32/36 = 31.11%
Let's say the -10% from Terrain is additional (-10% no *(1-10/100))
That would give 21.11%

What am I missing?

//Edit:

Wait, I got the wrong doctrines:
These should increase the buff: (Direct Ground Support and Ground Support Integration)

And btw. what are these 5% ?

SCW debuff?
(IIRC it also started to affect CAS in some way after a couple iterations)

Ahhh, Ok, so there is a CAS debuff in SCW... You never stop learning... ;)

Did a quick test outside of the SCW and everything is normal...

I also learned the way terrain works is, that you just can bring fewer planes.
E.g. If the combat width of the enemy (only non-reserve enemy CW is relevant here) is 18 then you can bring maximum CW times 3 = 54 planes.
If the terrain gives -10%, you can bring 54*(1-10/100) = 48.6 rounded 49 planes.

Terrain modifiers are
-5% for Hills
-10% for Mountains and Forrest
-25% for Jungle and
-50% for Urban

Doctrine buff from Direct Ground Support and Ground Support Integration is added at the end after rounding.
Example:
25% * 49 / 54 = 22.6851 rounded (down) 22.6

With both +20% buffs you get 22.6 * 1.4 = 31.64 rounded 31.6

I couldn't find out what "battlefield air interdiction" does and I also don't know what "+20% air support mission efficiency" from doctrine does.

If your planes are flying the "air support" mission.,which I think means CAS, they get a 20% bonus to their stats.

This is why using the airdesigner to create a CAS with lots of Fighter weapons, that is on a CAS mission is very effective against intercepting fighters, if you have the Battlefield Support Doctrine with all its boni for CAS.
