Why is "Khanate" the default name for Kingdom in this mod?

I can sort of get why Kingdoms that haven't been formed yet are called "Khanates", but I have no idea why Alba is a Khanate.

I'm also curious as to why Decadence is gone.

Cause it's a bug. It's fixed in the current EMF beta version.

Is Decadence bugged out, too? Some of the loading screen hints mention Decadence but nobody has it after I resume a save file.

The decadence mechanic was removed from the mod. There is still a "decadent dynasty" and "decadent" individual trait that characters can get, in which they can be told to straighten up.

Definitely now wersion of HIP sholuld be called [Khanate]
