They didn't.Then why Germany asked Poland about it ? Why they started a war over it ?
They didn't.
The war started because of Polish 'atrocities' such as the attack on the Sender Gleiwitz.
No declaration of war, just a 'police action'.
Are you joking (quotation marks) ?
It's well know that it was an operation organized by the SS-Sturmbannführer Alfred Naujocks: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gleiwitz_incident
I'm pretty sure he knows the Germans did it, hence the quotes. He's probably comparing it to something like the Gulf of Tonkin Incident.
What ? The US were behind that "Incident" ? *-).
Danzig was not really independent. It was closer to autonomous. Regardless of what you call it was was still within the country and sovereignty of Poland.Shouldnt it be independent? Historically it was an independent free city under the protection of the League of Nations.
Yes, Gleiwitz was a fake. Are you joking (quotation marks) ?

...i would still maintain that in actuality Danzig was not a part of Poland (and if it is modelled as a piece of Poland it needs a higher Unrest).
Implementation of this city is useless, the same considers memel(klajpeda) teritority.
This nation would be impossible to make some changes in WWII
