Not to mention the fact that our keys do not impact your ability to play, so even if in the remote possibility that someone found out your code, it can only be used to register the game on this site, and cannot be used twice, so they would not be able to use it.
If they found some magical way to undo your use of the code and used it themselves, well it should be pretty easy for you to prove you are the legit owner of that code. And if they had used that code here (again the only possible use for it) we could then track them electronically. So in once sense you are more protected by registering your code, since it then prevents anyone else from using it.

I totally understand your concern and the privacy issues involved with a lot of registrations, and sites monitoring you as you play and gathering statistics ...(if I was anymore paranoid about privacy, I would be institutionalized, ya I know some think I should be already) But at least for the internal titles, these kind of issues don't exist here. Plus I see you already have at least 2 games registered, so you might as well enjoy the added benefits of registering the rest.

... Unfortunately as companies get richer and richer they try squeeze as much money out of people as possible greed takes over, Register for patches/posts serves no real purpose other than to attempt to try force a few pirates to buy the game (Especially since games ship quite buggy and you really do need them patches).
...
Its a shame to see companies get big enough to not need to care about people anymore.
...

So we do not care about making life easy for Pirates and giving them free tech support, umm why would we.
Not like you are forced to have the CD in the drive to play, or enter a code every time to play, you are asked to enter a code ONE time here in order to participate in tech support and discuss the game on the official forum, not very onerous. It is very difficult to help members having a problem diagnose what that problem is and assist them to fix it. Do you know how many times I did that only to discover the problem was that they had a pirate version, very frustrating!
