Why I think the event writing in CK3 is bad

I would take any of the current ratings with a grain of salt because they all got reviewed bombed after the price increase and F&F announcements. From what I remember NL was generally well received, RC never got better than like 48% after the initial period of excitement died down, and I think FoI did better than RC but not as well as NL. CK3's DLCs have definitely had a mixed reception but its not all completely negative.
Positive review bombing is a thing as well. The only reason F&F isn't mostly negative is because of positive reviews that say things like "Don't listen to the haters, I love you Paradox". You will find plenty of people saying that the only reason they left a positive review is to annoy other people.

If these are all events in the new DLC, I consider that to be quite embarrassing. I wouldn't even want this stuff in my mods. Where are the events that involve our rivals, loved ones, (fellow) vassals, liege and religious head in a believable manner, that also work on the strategic level of realm management?

If OP is of any indication, I think wacky staff misunderstanding at PDX made most of events in this dlc being written for *F*R*I*E*N*D*S* episode, and not Crusader Kings dlc.
