I am currently playing as Byzantium and my expansion into Europe has been stopped by a really strong Austria (emperor who integrated Hungary and had the Netherlands under their reign). When I thought that nothing's gonna stop them a really unlucky year (for Austria) began. First, The Netherlands declared independence. They were supported by Spain and me. So it's the first big war. Then, France smelled an opportunity and attacked their fierce rival in order to reclaim their cores. Later, I started to feel really bad for Austria because 30 years war fired and they were at war with nearly whole Europe
