Not for CK 2 per se,
but for making me smarter
By this point, I wouldn't consider my $40 a waste of money even if CK 2 turns out to be less than stellar.
Just in anticipation for this game, I have watched several documentaries on the medieval history, and plan to order more books on this era.
Given the fact that I was never interested in medieval history, till I learned about this game, I think this is quite an accomplishment. In this day and age, when most games are cookie cutter games with mindless violence or sex, Paradox raises the bar higher by instilling in the gamers a love for learning.
I'm sure, in releasing this game, Paradox did more than its part in the war against dumbing down of youth trend that we are witnessing today.
On top of that, given the improve beta-testing process and a separate Gamersgate version, I don't feel I need to explain any further why Paradox deserves my hard-earned money.
Once again. Thank Paradox!
