Why hasn't the Austrian empire fallen.

I have finshed the Great war with the UK, but the map of Europe is redrawn evant hasn't worked. what I mean is that Germany has got its pre war boundries but the Austrian-Hungarian (I don't think I spelt that right) empire hasn't complety fallen apart. Only Yugoslavia has broken away fom Austria, however Hungary and Czechoslovakia remain part of the Empire. The year is 1920 and I want to know why is this.
P.S. Is their an event for the formation of the Irish Free State.

i believe the trigger is that the country has to be at peace with everyone before the event it fires. as italy i once had to wait for about 5 years before austria signed white peace with tiny greece and finally the event triggered

were you playing the 1914 scenario or the grand campaign starting in 1836. If the latter, there are no events for the collapse of Austria's empire into its national units, since the chances the world will look anything like Europe in 1918 when starting in 1836 are remote. If you are playing the 1914 scenario, there are events in Revolutions 1914 scenario for the breakup of Austria's empire if it loses WWI, as well as an event for the Irish Free State. but these are only for the 1914 scenario, not the GC.

hmm, would have to look at your savegame to see what happened. Did AUS peace out early, for example. That could affect whether or not the events will fire or not (they are fairly historicist in their approach).

I think Austria made peace with Romania early but not any of the major powers. But how come Yugoslavia has broken away and Germanys borders have changed but not Austria's.
