Why don't Megacorp empires have access to the Mechanist civic?

...Or at least have their own version of said civic? It seems thematically appropriate that a civilization which revolves around robotics to such a significant degree would itself be dominated by whatever corporate entities manufacture the robots.

While we're on the subject, why don't they have access to other "game start" civics, like Syncretic Evolution, Life Seeded, etc?

I get that there are plenty of "standard" civics that don't make sense for them thematically, and I generally approve of them having their own rebranded versions of many such civics, but I don't see why there's a blanket partition between the two civic types.
