Why does raising troops hire inflation?

How come raising troops raises inflation?? This doesn't seem to make sense to me.

Raising troops doesn't raise inflation. Inflation is raised by minting monthly income, events, gold mines and war taxes.

It looks to me like you're trying to keep the outcome of your Monthly Income at 0. No need for that. Raising troops takes money away from your monthly income which in turn takes it away from the investments. Totally normal. Just try not to mint too much to keep inflation (and thus the costs) under control. And of course do not maintain more troops than you can afford .
